Exhibition opening: The Keeper

Meet local collectors at the opening of The Keeper at Bribie island Seaside Museum.

People are curious beings and the world is full of curious things. It’s no wonder that if something exists, there’s someone who will collect it. The Keeper celebrates those who love collecting and want to share that love.

Peek into the personal collections of fascinating local collectors. Diverse, rich and often surprising, collections are brimming with stories. This opening event allows you to meet and greet these collectors and talk to them about their collections. You will be surprised and delighted by some of these collections.

Bookings are essential and the day includes:

  • 11.00am – official celebration proceedings
  • 11.45am – meet and greet with the collectors
  • 12.30pm – weaving demonstration by one of the collectors.

Exhibition developed by Moreton Bay Regional Council.

*Museum is open Wed–Fri 10am–4pm, Sat–Sun 10am–3pm
