Extra ordinary day at State Library

Free activities and events.

State Library of Queensland is 120 this year and to celebrate, they’re holding an Extra ordinary day on Saturday 18 June.

Expect expert-led conservation lab tours, repository and white gloves experiences, house history presentations by specialist library staff, exhibition curator’s tours, a special caring for your collections talk from a conservator and  much more.

All events are free. For more details about the special day, visit: slq.qld.gov.au/extraordinaryday

Please note: All undercover Queensland Cultural Centre car parks are closed until further notice, but there are plenty of car parking options around the precinct or public transport options. Plan your visit: slq.qld.gov.au/plan-my-visit
