Hands on Workshops – Blacksmithing

At The Workshops Rail Museum.

Forge something magical out of metal at our Blacksmithing Taster Workshop with heritage blacksmiths Rob Scully and Wayne Schmidt.

You will see demonstrations in drawing, upsetting, squaring, rounding, riveting and barley twisting. Then it’s time to get your hands dirty and make something special for yourself to take home.
