He | She | They | Them | Us

Book your visit to Adderton

In ‘He | She | They | Them | Us’ we are invited to view others more deeply through a video portrait series of seven individuals.  This collaborative work by Aha Ensemble, Daniele Constance and Phluxus2 Dance Collective explores notions of visibility and invisibility (particularly for people living with visible and invisible disabilities), capacity and capability, acceptance and difference.

The work asks us to look closely and reflect on our own thoughts and ideas about other people. ‘He | She | They | Them | Us’ poses the question “what do you see?” and attempts to redefine how we see one another in a visually dominated environment.

Book your visit to Adderton to see ‘He | She | They | Them | Us’.
