I Do in Ipswich

Sharing stories of those who got hitched in the 'swich.

Fall in love all over again as we invite you to walk down the aisle of some of Ipswich’s most beautiful moments and relish the words I Do one more time.

I Do in Ipswich is a pop-up photographic exhibition that shares a selection of wedding photographs from couples throughout the ages from 1890s until the 1950s.

As part of the exhibition, The Workshops Rail Museum curators are also calling on couples to submit their love story as part of the Ipswich Wedding Wall – an ever-changing aspect of the pop-up exhibition which will feature local stories of those who got hitched in the ‘swich.

Enter the space through a wedding arbour, be captivated by the large vintage photographs hanging on the walls, watch the slide show, read local wedding stories and take a seat at a reception table.

To share your wedding story or that of a loved one, send us a high resolution image and 250 – 500 words via weddings@theworkshops.qm.qld.gov.au
