Kangaroo Point Heritage Tour

Historic tour through this heritage-rich suburb.

Join us as we tour historic Kangaroo Point. Local Historians from Kangaroo Point Neighbourhood Watch will take us on a two hour walk that is packed with heritage highlights and stories.

Look beyond the city and its high-rise buildings to the days of Indigenous peoples, kangaroos, shipyards and early homes. Discover how Kangaroo Point began and how it has evolved from a hive of industry to the present.

The new improved edition of the book Kangaroo Point Heritage Walk: From Riverlife to Citylife is available for sale to participants of the walk at the reduced price of $15 (retails $20).

Bookings essential.

This event is part of the Australian Heritage Festival 2021.

Medium level of fitness required. Uneven surfaces and crossing of roads involved.
