BLHN Cultural Heritage Walking Tour.
Discover Brisbane’s Police Heritage on this walking tour taking in Roma Street and Petrie Terrace (formerly known as Green Hills). Visit the sites and hear the stories of law and disorder from Brisbane’s early days. Your tour guide will be the knowledgeable Lisa Jones, curator of the Queensland Police Museum.
The tour finishes at the Queensland Police Museum, Police Headquarters, 200 Roma Street, Brisbane. Your visit to the museum can include staying on for their free monthly Sunday lecture (11.00 am), this month featuring historian Anthony Staunton, ‘Queen’s Commendations for Brave Conduct to the Queensland Police Force ‘.
