Step Forward into the Past on the Shorncliffe Pier

Brought to you by Brisbane's Living Heritage Network.

Discover the refurbished Shorncliffe Pier and rediscover the historic Sandgate Pier as it was called in 1862. Share a visual experience of the old and the new, the buildings, the places, and the people. Rediscover the former kiosk and share refreshments where the Sandgate Town Band used to play in the former bandstand.

Join Pam Verney from the Sandgate & Districts Historical Society and Museum and compare the past with the present day and share the stories of Moora Park, the Pier and Lovers’ Walk.

This is a walking tour and a moderate level of fitness is required. (Uneven surfaces, steps and slopes)

Morning tea provided.

PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE from 26 June to 3 July due to expected inclement weather on 26 June. SPACES NOW AVAILABLE.
