The Skeen Mob: Family, Culture, Resilience

Greenbank First Nations artist, Jessica Skeen-McKinnon (Widi, Biri and Kuku Thaypan), has curated a group exhibition of works by her family members.

Many Skeen family members are also artists and craftspeople having learnt skills from their father, renowned artist Uncle Joseph Skeen.

The exhibition features new paintings, photography and wood craft and will focus on how Aboriginal culture and knowledge is passed down through family connections.

This project is supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund, a partnership between the Queensland Government and Logan City Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
