Tiny Giants

Tiny Giants is a collection of lifelike paper sculptures. The paper sculptures interpret the diversity of the invertebrates found in Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve.

The exhibition also includes a series of paper butterflies depicting Queensland’s threatened butterflies.

Lesley Kendall was engaged as an artist in residence during the Tiny Giants: Mary’s Amazing Invertebrates in October 2021. The research project was partnered with Queensland Museum, Sunshine Coast Council, and Third Nature Projects.

The museum is open Wednesday to Friday, 10am – 4pm, and Saturday to Sunday, 10am – 3pm.
