Queensland Horse Racing Museum and Archive
Facilities are open Tuesday and Wednesday 10 am – 2 pm. Visiting is by appointment.
Located across two sites:
- The Queensland Horse Racing Museum is situated in the heritage-listed Old Tote building at Eagle Farm Racecourse.
- The James McGill Library, Pascoe Family Pictorial Record, the Stanley Room and the Racing Archive are located at Doomben Racecourse.
The museum, library and archive are managed by the Brisbane Racing Club’s Heritage Unit to celebrate the history of thoroughbred breeding and racing, as well as its importance in the development of Queensland.
