Defining Symbols of Australia exhibition opening

Celebrate the opening of our newest exhibition, Defining Symbols of Australia, with Kabi Kabi traditional custodians, D’himburri Dancers, who will open the event with a smoking ceremony at the entrance to the museum.

Move inside for a Welcome to Country as well as dance, song and music.

After the performance, explore native flavours with delicious cakes from Kakadu Organics.

This is a free event for everyone to engage, learn and celebrate together. No bookings required.

The museum is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
