Our Story Live: Cemeteries of the Pine Rivers region

Discover the history of the six public cemeteries of the Pine Rivers area, including Lawnton, Albany Creek and Samsonvale cemeteries.

Learn how the cemeteries were developed and about the fascinating local people who were laid to rest in them.

Senior Local History Officer, Kelly Ashford, will explore the customs, superstitions and the meaning behind the tombstone symbols in the cemeteries.

After the event, explore the Births, deaths and marriages exhibition.

Free. Bookings required.

The museum is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
