Propping It Up

To celebrate Seniors Month this October, Theatre Redlands presents the original play, ‘Propping It Up’, at the Redland Museum in South East Queensland.

From the chance remark “Wouldn’t it be interesting to write a play about a prop?” came the concept of Propping It Up, a stage production consisting of three vignettes, each featuring a separate prop borrowed from the extensive Redland Museum collection. A gentleman’s valet, a telephone switchboard and a Waler horse – each one has its story.

Written and produced by Jan Nary, ‘Propping It Up’ will open on Friday 18th October, and conclude after six performances on Sunday 27th October.

Ticket Price From $19 pp* (Show only, add $15 savoury grazing boxes for evening shows or $10 Devonshire Tea for matinee shows)
Your ticket includes the show and entry into the Museum to browse through the fascinating displays.
