St James College and My Journey: Some Personal Reflections on a Lifetime of Learning

The speaker at our public meeting will be Ann Gebetz, recently retired Principal of St James College in Spring Hill.  Ann is a highly respected leader with a proud record of improving student access to education and employment pathways.

St James College is a landmark Catholic secondary college in Fortitude Valley/Spring Hill. Established as a boys’ school in 1868, it became co-ed from 1994 and now has almost 1 000 students from a variety of cultural and social backgrounds.

Ann will reflect on her 40 years of educational challenges and achievements, including the last six as Principal of St James College.
